Girls Golf

On Saturday, September 19 the girls golf team played the round of golf they have been waiting on and preparing for all year long. The golf team, which consists of Allie Lowe, Callie Baker and Audrey Manship played the last round of golf for the year in the sectional at Otis Park in Bedford, Indiana.
Participating in the sectional along with us was Seymour, Eastern Pekin, Brownstown, Trinity Lutheran, Orleans, Bedford North Lawrence, Mitchell, Springs Valley and Salem.
The ladies on the PHS golf team were only able to compete individually due to there only being three girls. To compete as a team, you must have four.
“I was really nervous about the round. This was my first year and I’ve never experienced it before,” said sophomore Allie Lowe. “It was a long day since we played 18 holes.”
Winning the Sectional was Bedford North Lawrence. In the individual scoring, the Lady Rams were led by Callie Baker who shot a 115. Next was Allie Lowe, with a score of 120. Audrey Manship also played and finished with a score of 163.
