The Winter Semi-Formal will be held in the PHS cafeteria on Saturday, February 27 from 7 to 10 p.m. The cost will be $6 per person and $10 per couple.

The semi-formal event is open to all PHS students from grades 9 through 12. Guests from other schools are welcome to come, but they must have a signed guest pass available from the PHS office. No guests over the age of 20 are allowed.

There will be drinks and snacks available.

“We will be selling soft drinks and there may be some candy and nuts on the tables,” said one of the junior class sponsors Summer Hudelson.

The juniors are bringing back our semi-formals dances.

“We had semi-formals annually for many years. We just haven’t held one in some time, maybe 10 years or so. The junior class is sponsoring this as a fundraiser to help raise money for this year’s prom,” said the other junior class sponsor Chris Jones.

The DJ services will be provided by English teacher Brooke Goerres.

“I’m doing the DJ services myself. I will be using an iPad and Mrs. Fullington’s light system,” said Goerres.
