As service day is coming around the corner, teachers scramble for a service project to benefit the community. Science teachers Laurie Jo Andry and Melissa Higgins will be doing a clean up project with Patoka Lake Blackwaters.
“It’s remote and get’s quite a bit of trash washed in when the lake water is up,” said Andry.
Students helping with this project will be picking up trash and any items left behind at the Patoka Lake Blackwaters.
Keeping the earth clean is a very import part in the health of our world and this is a great place to start.
“Individually we might not be able to do much but together we can accomplish so much,” said Andry.
