Looking for something new and fun to try this summer?
The 2017 Orange County 4-H Queen Contest has some new changes to announce for the 2017 contest. One of the biggest changes is that the “4-H” in the name is being dropped and any eligible female that is a resident of Orange County may compete.
The committee is also pleased to announce that this year the 4-H Council will be sponsoring a $500 scholarship to the winner of the Orange County Queen, if she can provid3e proof of furthering her education in the fall of 2017.
Queen candidates are any girl who is between 18 and 22 years of age as of January 1, 2018.
Jr. Miss candidates are any girl ages 13-16 as of June 23, 2017.
Applications may be picked up at the school office. All applications and fees are due to the Extension Office by May 28 or your school office May 18.
