The most recent post prom parent meeting was held Tuesday, September 19 at 6 p.m. in the high school library. All senior parents were encouraged to attend, and those who attended discussed a variety of fundraisers, including selling concessions, a possible masquerade and ideas and requests from the community.
Parents can still get involved by coming to the meetings, being open minded and sharing their ideas. They can also get involved by volunteering to work concessions at athletic events or help out at other fundraisers, such as chaperoning a masquerade. Continuously coming up with ideas will help keep the students engaged. Volunteers will also be needed to get information out about food truck locations and volunteers to sell peanuts, if that is something decided on. The more parents who are involved, the less each will have to commit to. Get involved in the prom fundraising activities involved in your community!
