Zachary Cullum, the area 21st Century Scholar representative, scheduled some homeroom time to run workshops with Guidance Counselor Brandi Kerley, where they will be working with 21st Century Scholar students by grade level.
The goal is to help students set up their Scholartrack accounts, complete some of the scholar activities, give updated information about the program and answer any questions.
The junior meeting will be on October 4, and seniors will be later because it will be a parent meeting paired with other important senior information.
Some of the scholar activities include documenting completion of a four year graduation plan, watching a “Paying For College 101” video and answering questions. Students will also document extracurricular or service activities that scholars have participated in, take a career interest assessment, search for scholarships and even visit a college campus. For more information contact the guidance office and plan to attend all 21sr Century Scholar meetings to be announced.
