On October 12, PHS participated in the College and Career Fair. During the fair, different colleges and businesses made an appearance in the lower gymnasium to meet with students. Schools and employers that made an appearance include:

Students grades 9 through 12 were invited to meet with the different universities during their fourth period and lunch hour. Orleans and Springs Valley High Schools both brought their students to the fair also. Senior guidance counselor Brandon Crowder hopes that the students learned about the different colleges and careers open to them.
“Since several smaller and private colleges attend our fair, it’s nice for students to be exposed to colleges and programs that may meet their needs better than larger or public universities,” said Crowder.
