The ASVAB, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, test will be held on Thursday November 2. This is a test that combines math, english, vocational and technical knowledge in eight primary sections. The military actually uses this test for enlistment and placement purposes, but anyone can take the test whether they are planning on serving or not. This test can help identify strengths and weaknesses that students can keep in mind as they are looking for a career.
“Approximately two to three days before the test, students are given access to a Google Form that allows them to sign up,” said guidance counselor Brandon Crowder. If you’re interested, be sure to sign up as soon as possible. More information can also be found at www.asvabprogram.com.
