With winter sports coming to a close, spring sports are starting up. Conditioning is held weeks before the actual sport begins, and tennis conditioning has already begun. Starting at the beginning of January, tennis conditioning lasts for about six weeks. Weight lifting, running and core exercises are all expected during the conditioning time period. These conditioning exercises are necessary for getting in shape and preventing injuries.
If you are interested in playing tennis this year, you may still attend conditioning. Make sure to contact head coach Tyla Whitfield to get information about specific dates and times.
The official season starts on March 12.
