Following the boys varsity game against Corydon on January 31, PHS was able to add another player to the 1,000 point club. That night, junior Brett Bosley scored his 1,000 point.
Bosley has spent many hours in the gym to achieve this goal, and his many supporters helped to keep him focused.
“My biggest supporters are probably my grandparents. They have only been able to make it to one game and it was the one where I scored my 1,000. They listen to it every time on the radio and always call me the next morning after the game,” said Bosley.
Although he achieved this goal, he hopes to fulfill many more and believes hard work is the key.
“If you want to score 1,000 points, you just have to forget about it and work harder. Hard work in practice will transfer over to games. 1,000 points doesn’t come with skill, it comes with extremely hard work as well,” said Bosley.
