October 13 will be the PHS Service Day where students take a day from school to go and help with something throughout the community. Physics teacher Phil Andry will be going to Patoka Lake ramps with RTI Worker Cliff Brannon.

“I like to work outside,” said Andry.

Patoka Lake is a very popular place for a wide variety of people and can always use some help. Patoka Lake is of course a very native place to be and ready to work hard.

“I like this project because a lot of people in our area use this facility but also there are many visitors coming in from outside the county that see this area.We want to make a better place for ourselves and our families. It takes all of us to build the community up and leave it better than we found it,” said Brannon.
