The most amazing feeling in the world is knowing you helped someone and that they greatly appreciated it. The students and staff are working towards that feeling on our second annual service day. Librarian Brenda Eubank and English teacher Pam Street paired together for their service project. The students that sign up for their project will be making cards.

“We wanted something for students who wanted to help but didn’t want to go out somewhere to do service as well as to get those creative students who like to do this kind of thing,” said Eubank.

The recipients of the cards will be nursing home residents, veterans and their families.

“Students will have a sense of pride in making these folks feel good,” said Eubank.
