The Paoli FFA officers have been invited to the Capitol building in Indianapolis to discuss their Farm to Table project, the building project and the overall importance of career and technical education on January 24. Meetings are scheduled with State Representative Stephen Bartels, Senator Erin Houchin, leadership members of the Office of Community and Rural Affairs and Directors of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture. Eight FFA officers are eligible for the trip. This year’s officers are doing a lot of work to represent Paoli Community Schools.
“We are confident that we will get to our goal and hopefully will begin next school year with the facilities we need to further expand our program and give all of our students a more real world lab to work in,” said agriculture teacher Cory Scott.
