On January 10, sophomore Hannah Albertson traveled to Edgewood High School to compete in the Indiana High School Girls Wrestling Regional competition. Albertson placed fourth in her weight class and advanced to the state finals, which will be held Friday, January 17 at Memorial Gymnasium in Kokomo, Indiana.
“My favorite part about wrestling is that I get to prove my skills & strength & it makes me feel really good to win. Also, I think it’s absolutely hilarious when dudes have a huge fit over losing against a girl,” said Albertson.
Albertson’s trip to the IHSGW State meet will be the first in school history.
