FCCLA will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 1. The event will take place in the Auxiliary gymnasium. Students who want to participate must be 16 or older to donate.

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, and just one unit can save three lives. There are 6.8 million people who donate blood in the U.S. each year.

“The goal for the blood drive is to collect at least 37 units of blood,” said FCCLA sponsor Danelle Manship. “We have been doing the blood drive since I have been at PHS, we normally do one in the fall and one in spring.”

Anyone interested in donating blood should contact Manship or FACS teacher Debbie Andry, and fill out the Google Form link in student emails by Oct.  31.
