Free Physicals Rescheduled for May 20

PHS will be partnering with FinalForms to provide students with free physicals. These physicals will be held on Wednesday, May 20, starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishing around noon. Students in grades seven through eleven are eligible to get a free physical. Physicals will be conducted by doctors from the Southern Indiana Community Health Care clinic here in Paoli.

Students need to have physicals on file to play sports here at PHS. This event allows them to get one for free, and here at the school. To be eligible for a free physical, parents must register on FinalForms, sign the form, and submit it to the high school office.

Every student who wants to participate in extracurricular activities, including marching band and all sports during the 2026-2027 school year, must have a physical on file in the athletic office.

“This is a great and free opportunity to get this completed, before summer starts,” said Athletic Director Darek Newkirk.

Junior Kaylee Baxter is a writer for the PHS newspaper, the “Paolite”. At school, she is in the National Honor Society and Tri-Hi-Y. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, and she enjoys reading. She also enjoys babysitting and working with children. After graduation, Kaylee wants to study early childhood education. When going on vacation, her favorite places to visit are Austin, Texas, or Anna Maria Island in Florida. Some of her favorite things are the color purple, peonies and lilies, mystery books, and Mexican food.
