The Junior Varsity Basketball team played Henryville on Saturday, December 3. They won with a score of 40-21.

The Lady Rams were led by both Junior Carley Higgins and freshman Kailynn Larimore with 10 points.

“It felt good to get the same amount of points as Carley,” said Larimore.

Junior Varsity Head Coach Jeremy Payton shares his thought on the game.

“We have played well the last two games for 3 quarters and continue to improve on many things,” said Payton.

Payton praises his team.

“I am proud of how we are sharing the ball and getting everyone involved offensively.   Our defense is getting better but we still have some adjustments we are going to continue to improve on,” said Payton.

Payton describes what need to be done for the next game.

“This week with Lanesville and Orleans we will need to be better on both ends to have a chance to win both.  I feel we are improving every day and playing hard for the majority of the games,” said Payton.

The Lady Rams will play at home against Lanesville starting at 6 p.m.
