The second annual Rammy’s were held in the Chambers Gymnasium on Wednesday, May 8th. The Rammy’s is an event where teachers are recognized for fun awards. The students voted on the categories and their respective winners, grades 7-12. US History Teacher Chris Lindley coordinated this event with the help of Assistant Principal Adam Stroud.
Lindley said the Rammy’s purpose is for teachers to have fun and feel appreciated. Senior Class President Nadia Garcia and juniors Brian Fullington and Fletcher Cole hosted the event.
“I hope that the students see their teachers in a different light, and be able to show their teachers love, and for teachers to be celebrated and feel loved for what they bring to the school,” said Lindley.
Winners for each category were:
Social Studies Teacher Neil Dittmer won the “PHS TARZAN” award for the most recognizable yell.
Biology Teacher Laurie Jo Andry won the “TREE KILLER” award for the most used paper.
Science Teacher Lori Stroud won the ”DEWEY DECIMAL award for being most organized.
Spanish Teacher Crystal Shellenberger won the “CARPE DIEM” award for making the most of every minute of every class period.
English Teacher Carol Eubank won the “99% PERSPIRATION” award for willingness to work hard.
Math Teacher Paul Bosley won the “EARLY BIRD” award for being the most likely to be here at the crack of dawn.
Culinary Teacher Debbie Andry won the “WHITE GLOVE” award for the cleanest and neatest classroom.
Math Teacher Aaron Key won the “LITTLE RAY OF SUNSHINE” award for always being cheerful.
Art Teacher Chris Jones won the “BORN INNOVATOR” award for coming up with many new ideas.
US History Teacher Chris Lindley won the “PHS YODA” award for being intelligent, wise, and selfless, but also a bit mischievous.
Media Teacher Heather Nichols won the “BIG EAR” award for being a great listener.
Math Teacher Aaron Key won the“SPOTLIGHT” award for the teacher you want to shine a light on.
Librarian Rachel Miller won the “INSPECTOR GADGET” award for always having the “latest thing.”
Art Teacher Chris Jones won the “DUCT TAPE” award for being able to fix any classroom issue.
Science Teacher Jeramy Reynolds won the award for being the “DRIPPIEST”.
US History Teacher Chris Lindley won the “ABOVE AND BEYOND” award for always going above and beyond.
Media Teacher Heather Nichols is Our “PHS HERO” for always watching out for everyone.
In addition to the student-chosen awards, Assistant Principal Adam Stroud awarded two teachers awards. Math Teacher Paul Bosley was awarded the “Enforcer” award for the most referrals. As a joke, Social Studies teacher Brian Wilson was awarded the “Substitute” award for the most days missed.

With the Chief Photographer position, I have a heavy hand in the selection of pictures in the Hillcrest Yearbook, Paolite Newspaper, and all of our social media accounts. In addition to this I'm also over the gallerists of Paoli Media, so every time someone takes an event they make a gallery and captions, and then I post it on Facebook for the public to see!
