On March 5 and March 17, a CPR certification class will be taking place at the Lost River Career Cooperative for the Health Science students. The class will last two and a half hours, taking up time from periods one, two and three. By taking the class, 35 PHS students hope to become CPR accredited.

“It is a great opportunity for them to learn how to save a life, unfortunately 70% of Americans are untrained and/or do not feel comfortable performing CPR,” said Health Science teacher and RN Mara Eisele.
