This year’s prom theme is “Viva Las Vegas” and the event is set for Saturday, April 22.

Students attending prom can expect to see various decorations at the dance, all of which will be made by Art Teacher Chris Jones’s high school art classes.

“We’re hoping to recreate a lot of the Vegas signs and at least a couple of big versions of casino games,” said Jones.

Art students will begin their prom projects not long after returning from spring break. Their planning is set to start during the first week of April.

Ticket sales will begin on April 3 and will be sold in the front office. Tickets are $10 for seniors and $40 for all other students. The last day for ticket sales will be April 17.
