‘Tis the season to enjoy festivities! The band and choir programs will perform in the annual PHS Christmas Concert in the Uyesugi Auditorium this Sunday. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature a wide variety of festive songs, including “Sleigh Ride,” “Winter Holiday,” “Bidi Bom,” and much more.

“My favorite piece is ‘Sleigh Ride’ because it is a classic that everyone loves to play and listen to every year,” said Senior Cameron Apple, a high school concert band member.

The groups performing this Sunday will be the high school concert band, junior high concert band, high school choir, and junior high choir.  This year, the band will be joined by graduated Paoli band members A.J. Lopez, Brody Wilcox, Kylee Charles, and Elijah MacDonald.

“Castleton Carol,” a piece that the high school choir will sing, will feature junior soloists Mary Cook and Rhiannon Pinnick.

“I think we’ve all worked really hard for this Christmas concert and we’re all gonna have fun,” said junior Soloist Mary Cook.

At every concert, guests are asked to be respectful and courteous to all performers and fellow audience members. See these fantastic musicians this Sunday, December 17, at 2 p.m. in the Auditorium.
