PHS After Prom will be held this year at Paoli Rock N’ Bowl on April 20 from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. All students and their dates are invited to attend.

This year, students will not be required to ride the bus to the After Prom from the school. If a student would like to drive themselves to Rock N’ Bowl, they must have a permission form signed by a parent or guardian on file. If students do not have their permission form, they will call their parents to deem it okay for them to drive.

Students will be given permission forms on March 29 when Prom Sponsors Summer Hudleson and Chris Jones host an official Prom meeting regarding rules and regulations for this year’s event.

Students will be invited to participate in all Rock N’ Bowl activities, including bowling, laser tag, and bumper cars. Pizza and drinks will be provided for students, but students will need to pay for additional items out of pocket.

As always, a drawing will be held for prizes, but students must stick around until the end of the event to win. The prizes included are AirPods, a mini fridge, Keurig, gift cards, kayaks, TVs, speakers, Kindle tablets, and more. The coordinators will also bring bingo to Rock N’ Bowl where students can win cash and gift card prizes.

More fundraisers could be in the works before After Prom to help fund the event.

“We may be having a Merkley Meats fundraiser.  It costs a lot of money to put on these events, and we really need all juniors and seniors to participate in the sale.  If every student sold at least 5 items, it would greatly help the After Prom fund.  We are finding it more difficult each year to raise the funds to keep the After Prom alive,” said Student Council Sponsor Miya Scott.

All students who are planning to attend this year’s After Prom should plan to attend the March 29 meeting during homeroom to learn more.
