Track Results

The varsity boys track team kicked off their season yesterday falling to Borden 76 to 51.  Picking up first place ribbons were Tanner Kameda in the 100, 200 and long jump; Joey Rice in the 110 and 300 hurdles; Tristan Murphy in the high jump; and Tristan Manship, Joey Rice, Spencer Cornwell, and Bryan Morell in the 400 meter relay.  Coach Gudorf and Galloway were very happy with the efforts of everyone in their events and see opportunities for great improvement.

Last night the girls track team competed at Borden and although they didn’t pull off the win, many runners and throwers placed in their events.  Sierra Smetzer took 1st in the 800 and Lexie Strange took 1st in the 400.  Second place finishes came from Becca Lowe in the mile, Lexie Strange in the 100 hurdles, TOri Guinn in the 100 and 200, Rachel Cadle in the discus, Lily Eubank 2nd in the shot, Avery Rogers in the 400 and Lexie Strange in the high jump.  3rd places finishes were turned in by Kylene Baker in the 1600 and 800, Hannah Thill in the 100 and long jump, Lily Eubank in the discus and Rachel Cadle in the shot.
