Senior Trey Rominger has achieved numerous accolades while playing football for the Paoli Rams. Even though the football season is over, Rominger
is still raking up the awards.
In December, Rominger was awarded IFCA All-State as an offensive player, while junior Fletcher Cole also earned IFCA All-State honors as a defensive player.
The IFCA stands for the Indiana Football Coaches Association. To be recognized for an IFCA award, the player must be nominated by at least one Indiana Football Coaches Association coach.
“I feel very good and it feels like a big accomplishment,” said Rominger.
Rominger was also awarded a spot on the IFCA Region 10 All-Star Team as a running back. This award makes him a candidate for the North vs. South All-Star game.
“The coaching staffs of the south team will get together in a month or so and choose the team based on the all-star teams of each south region,” said Varsity Football Coach Neil Dittmer.
The North vs. South All-Star game will be played on July 12 at 7 p.m. at Decatur Central High School.
