Junior Class officers and junior class sponsor Chris Jones have already been preparing for the annual PHS Prom. This year’s Junior Class officers are President Cheyanne Hopper, Vice President Kina Arsenault, Secretary Ada McSpadden, and Treasurer Addie Payton.
The 2026 theme has been decided as ALOHA MAI HAWAII, a Hawaiian theme filled with a retro aesthetic of surfboards, tikis, sea animals, palm trees, and hibiscus flowers. Students in Chris Jones’ art classes will help create decorations for the prom. Participating classes will include Art 2, Art 3, and all advanced classes.
“Being a part of the prom committee has given me a chance to choose a theme that I feel like is really different, and I think a lot of people will like. I think that this year’s prom will be quite nice,” said Hopper.
On January 26, class officers Chris Jones and Summer Hudelson will meet after school to plan decorations, order crowns for the court, decide the food to be catered on prom day, and buy supplies. More information about tickets will be available closer to the event.
Prom will take place on April 25, 2026, in the lower gymnasium.
