Paoli Jr-Sr High School will honor our veterans this Friday, November 9, at our annual Veterans Day program at 10am in the gym. Students are encouraged to invite veterans and family members to attend this ceremony. This year’s speaker is James Lee Hutchinson, a Bedford native, World War II veteran, and a published author of three books about his combat experience flying B17 bombing missions. As our World War II veterans are fast passing from the scene, this is a great opportunity to hear one veteran’s personal recollection of what it was like for a 19 year old Hoosier to be involved in the largest war in history.
