Kacey McBride is a new junior high girls basketball coach, joining Elementary Counselor Jason Harrell on the sidelines. McBride is no stranger to Paoli basketball, having graduated in 2022.
McBride herself started playing basketball during her kindergarten year for the biddy ball league at her church. While at PHS, her varsity basketball team won All-Conference in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. McBride was also the team captain for her last two years of basketball.
McBride has had a great experience coaching so far.
“So far, my experience has been great coaching. We have a great group of girls who just need guidance in building their skills in the game and getting ready to play at the next level,” said McBride.
McBride’s goals are to help the girls be more aggressive in rebounding, help them with communication on the court, build their confidence, and make the girls stronger as they progress.
