As the 2025 fall season has come to an end, many teams have had successful seasons this year. First was the Girls’ Golf team. Although it is a team sport, only senior Alivia Sweet competed. Even though it was a one-person show, she was still highly successful. Throughout the season, Sweet never placed lower than 8th and finished 2nd five times, including at the Conference Meet and Sectional. Sweet competed in the sectional, where she placed 2nd, allowing her to advance to the Regional. In the Regional, Sweet shot a 107 and came up short, not advancing.
Next is the tennis team. First, the Varsity team set a new school record for the most wins in a season, with 17. They finished their season with a record of 17-2, led by five seniors. The team ended their season with a sectional loss to Barr-Reeve. The Junior High tennis team also had a successful season, and finished the season undefeated, going 7-0.
The Varsity football team finished its season with an 8-3 record, advancing to the second round of Sectional. In the regular season, they went 4-1 in conference play and placed second. The Rams had seven players named to the All-Conference team, including seniors Dane Padgett, Cooper Spires,
Kade Walls, Dom Garcia, and Tyler Hannon, as well as juniors Trey Robbins and Alvaro Gavina, who were also named to the All-Conference team.
This year, the Cross Country team had only three runners: senior Billy Apple, and sophomores Cooper Lane and Alba Miranda Irusta. Apple’s best finish was a time of 23:27 at the PLAC meet. Lane’s best finish came at Sectional with a time of 20:30. Irusta had her best run at PLAC with a time of 29:53.
The Varsity volleyball team finished its season with a record of 5-27 and 0-6 in conference play. Sophomore Kalyn Hannon was the only volleyball player named to the All-Conference team. The Junior High volleyball team finished its season with the 8th grade having a record of 8-9, and the 7th grade with a record of 15-2.
