As the first semester of the 2025-26 school year comes to an end, students and Ram families need to know if their child is exempt from finals.
Finals will take place on Thursday, December 18, and Friday, December 19. Administration stresses that all finals must be taken at their scheduled times and none should be taken early. Students may be exempt from their final if they have no more than four absences in the class and received a grade of 70 percent or higher in both grading periods during the semester. Students who do not have any finals on either of these days may also pick up a Job Shadow Form in the office; these must be returned to the office by 8:10 a.m. on the first day of final exams to job shadow or attend a college visit. If the student is exempt from the final for that class period and has their Final Exemption Form signed, they may go to a reward area.
“Reward areas are always the library and a movie area; however, if the movie area is not available, then the gym will be open,” said Assistant Principal Adam Stroud.
Students who are exempt can pick up a Final Exemption Form in the office when they become available, and have it signed by their parent or guardian and their teachers.
